Unfortunately we had to cancel the exhibition venue planned for fall 2011 within the framework of the 24th World Congress of Architecture of the "Union Internationale des Architectes" (UIA) in Tokyo.

The exhibition was opened by the President of the Bukyeong University, Mr. Maengon Park, the German Ambassador, Dr. Hans-Ulrich Seidt, and the architect Ralf Zabel, representative of Network for Architecture Exchange (NAX). Present was also the local representative of the Korean Chambers of Architects KIRA, Mr. Taebok Jeong. Within the opening event, the German Ambassador gave a speech on "20 years of German reunification and its perspectives".

The exhibition was opened by the Mayor of the city of Gwangju, Mr. Untae Kang, the President of KIRA Korea, Mr. Yeongjib Choi, the President of KIRA Gwangju, Mr. Jeongcheol Shin, and the architect Mr. Ralf Zabel, representative of Network for Architecture Exchange (NAX). The exhibition was part of an international conference on "Architecture of the 21st Century", hosting speakers from Korea, China and Japan.

The idea and initiative to show the NATURETECTURE exhibition in Korea was developed by the President of the local Chamber of Architects KIRA Gwangju, Mr. Jeongcheoul Shin, and by the architect Mr. Ralf Zabel, representative of Network for Architecture Exchange (NAX).
